Mosman Bush Explorer

Let the kids run wild during the upcoming school holidays

Our school holiday ‘Mosman Bush Explorer’ is the bee’s knees.

We offer kids a unique learning experience to safely connect and play within the great outdoors.

Kids will learn about the importance of plants to the local animals. In particular, they will learn about the habitat for frogs, birds and bugs as well as marine critters living in the rock pools.

Learning Highlights

Our Mosman Bush Explorer is designed around the learning framework within the NSW Stage 2 and Stage 3 curriculum.

This includes: caring for Country, native flora and fauna, landscapes and landforms, aboriginal life, fieldcraft including navigation as well as beach conservation.

To do this, the kids will walk among the bushland identifying native plants, using field microscopes and magnifying glasses, sketching, painting hand crafted frogs, bird watching, navigating an orienteering course using a compass and beach play.

The kids will be exploring the bushland and beaches of Sydney Harbour National Park.

Our drop off point is at Athol Hall at 8:30am for free play before we set off at 9am. Pick up point is at the Boat Shed on Balmoral Beach between 3:30pm to 4pm.

Sold out this April school holidays but we’ll have more dates for July holidays shortly.
